The Agape Liquid Facelift
Aging of the face is a loss of fat and volume, Not gravity…
What actually robs many people of their youthful appearances is something called deflation. It’s the loss of facial fat and volume. This causes wrinkles that result in sunken temples, hollow cheeks, deeper frown and smile lines and a smaller chin. Fortunately, there is safe and natural approach that provides dramatic results for improving the appearance of facial lines, wrinkles, and folds using fat harvested from your own body. This procedure is referred to as micro-lipoinjection, fat injection, facial fat rejuvenation, or most commonly, Fat Transfer.
Fat transfer restores volume …
Fat transfer is a wonderful, safe and non invasive method of restoring volume by transferring fat from an area that has an abundance of fat (such as the lower abdomen or flanks) into an area that has lost fat volume (such as the face), in order to fill the fat deficit and restore a youthful contour. It won’t remove all the wrinkles, but will restore traits of youthful volume.
Non-surgical, no general anesthesia…
Fat transfer is an in-office relatively simple procedure in which fat is removed from the patient's abdomen or flanks and injected into the face or hands or other parts of the body. The procedure takes about two hours and patients may return to work the next day.
A safe procedure, quick recovery and minimal downtime…
By replacing lost volume with one’s own fat, harvested from another body area, the fat is injected into the hallowed, thinning areas thereby restoring the underlying foundation, structure and youthfulness of the face and hands. Both the donor site (area from which fat is taken) and the recipient site (area to be treated) are numbed using a local anesthesia. About 50% of the fat transferred "takes" to form a permanent graft in the patient's body. This fat is used to fill in the wrinkles and or hallowed areas to be treated. Sometimes a second or third fat injection is needed, depending on each person.
A fat transfer can correct skin defects…
A fat transfer is a wonderful treatment to correct skin defects, deep furrows and wrinkles on the face and other depressions on other areas of the body. This procedure re-contours the face and corrects facial or body deformities.
Fat Transfer FAQS: What is Fat Transfer?
Fat transfer is the removal of fat from one area of the body and re-injecting it into another area. This can be done at the same time as liposelection or at as a separate more minor procedure. Using the body’s own cells as filler has a few major advantages. Firstly, there is virtually no risk of allergic reaction or rejection of the auto graft, as living tissue the body does not reabsorb the fat and so the results last longer than most other fillers provided that the patient does not lose excessive weight , the result is often a very natural one and restores the contours of youth. When injected into the face there is often a secondary improvement in then quality of the skin due to a release of hormones from the donor fat and the creation of new blood vessels to supply the area. Fat transfer is not a correction for fine lines found in the dermis but it is a great bulking technique to lift sagging skin.
